Welcome to my personal website, created out of a sense of fate and an innate desire to connect and share. I grew up in the old districts of Beijing, where every street and park is steeped in history. From elementary school to high school, I lived in Dongcheng District. The streets I walked daily, the weekends spent in Jingshan and Beihai parks with my parents, and the frequent visits to the National Art Museum of China and Sanlian Bookstore during my middle school years—all these rich cultural environments nurtured me.

It wasn't until I left Beijing to study in Boston, USA, that I truly realized how different my home was from European and American cultures. I have always wanted to understand these differences while also searching for commonalities. Upon returning to Beijing, I reexamined my hometown and noticed that people here come from all over the world. I wanted to find what makes Beijing distinct yet similar to other places around the globe.
